Located near the Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee, this position is responsible for leading, guiding, and managing the Sanitation Department consistent with the Company’s vision and core values.
This Supervisor will supervise all aspects of the Sanitation Dept.
The Sanitation Department works third shift to clean and prepare both Plants at the end of the production day. This will be done in accordance with British Retail Consortium (BRC) rules and guidelines, as well as any and all QC regulations as provided by the Director of Quality Control.
Qualified candidates for this position must be bilingual and fluent in Spanish and English.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to particles, pressured water, cleaning materials and products, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to cold at 48 degrees warm clothing is suggested and there are times employee is subject to hot environment. Ear plugs, hard hat, slip-resistant shoes are required due to slick floors.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position involves walking and being able to occasionally lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

This is a full-time position. Overtime is required. Third shift Mon through Friday with some weekends.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Sanitation experience not required, and training will be provided.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Previous Sanitation and Supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
