Swaggerty Sausage Inc. Co. is seeking a motivated, eager, full-time Safety and Training Coordinator to join our team in Kodak, Tennessee. The Safety and Training Coordinator performs and assists the Safety/Training Supervisor in all assigned duties.
- Conduct new hire orientation classes as assigned.
- Provide safety training to employees.
- Maintain Safety documentation and files.
- Perform safety walk-thrus and follow-up inspections.
- Assists the Safety/Training Supervisor in all assigned duties as needed.
- Proactively pursue education and certification in Safety. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Performs training in all categories (new hire, LOTO, Annual, forklift refresher, etc.)

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some overtime may be required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma or GED is helpful, but not required
- Must speak English
- Preferred, but not required, bilingual English & Spanish
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous computer and Microsoft Office experience is helpful, but not required
WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE
Authorized to work in the United States.
