Sausage Roll-Ups

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 lb Swaggerty’s Sausage
  • 2 generous c. self-rising flour
  • 1/4 c. cooking oil
  • ¼ tsp salt (I felt like the dough could have used salt)
  • 3/4 c. milk
Preparation:
  1. Fry sausage, breaking up into small pieces, until browned. Drain.
  2. Mix flour, oil, salt and enough milk to make a soft dough. On a floured board, knead dough and roll into a 10" rectangle.
  3. Spread sausage over dough, leaving about 1" on each side and roll into jellyroll fashion. Seal the sides and cut roll into 1/2" slices.
  4. Place on a baking sheet with cut side down and bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly browned.
